Earth Day at the Library

Join us for an Earth Day celebration. Make and take an Earth Day craft, visit our children’s garden, and visit with our special guests to learn more about Earth Day and the planet. 

Guests include: Appalachian Audubon Society, Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation, Lower Allen Township, Penn Cumberland Garden Club 

10am Earth Day Storytime reading of One Earth & This Little Kitty in the Garden 

10am-12pm Crafts and Seed Planting 

12-1pm & 4-5pm Work and plant in the One Seed Grows Children’s Garden 

5:15pm Storytime reading of The Ocean Gardener & Lola Meets the Bees 

All day Scavenger Hunt, Make and take activities, and more!

Donation Station

The Friends of Fredricksen will hold Donation Station on the first Saturday of each month to accept donations of books and media for their Book & Media Sales. To drop off donations, please park in the lower parking lot off Walnut Street close or near the sidewalk. Donations of one box or less can be brought to the Reference Desk whenever the Library is open. Thank you for thinking of the Friends when you have extra books.
