Children’s books will be available for sale upstairs in the atrium, and media/puzzles/adult & teen books will be sold in the lower level and Community room. Hours are 10 am - 6 pm

A bag sale will be held on the final day, June 11. Hours are: Sat/Sun June 5 - 6: 1 pm - 5 pm and Mon - Fri June 7 - 11: 10 am - 6 pm

Walk the Library grounds as Penn-Cumberland Garden Club members identify the plants and shrubs that are enjoyed by library patrons walking past them. Please bring a chair, as the discussion will continue outside with insights on Gardening for Birds, plus a Book Review of the 2021 Longwood Gardens Community Read selection: The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man's Love Affair with Nature by J. Drew Lanham.
In case of inclement weather, the program will be held inside the Foundation House.

Do you have some unanswered gardening questions and don't know where to turn? Just stop over at Fredricksen Library anytime from 6 to 7:30 pm every Tuesday evening (May 11 – August 17). The Master Gardeners from Penn State Cooperative Extension will be there eagerly waiting to solve your gardening mysteries and help you to have the best garden possible! No registration necessary, masks required.
